Privacy policy

This policy describes how Konfector handles the personal data collected through its site and services. Clearly and concisely.

1. Who collects your data?

Konfector, an independent web development studio, is the data controller. Contact: malo@konfector.fr.

2. What data?

Only what you voluntarily send us through the contact form: name, email, company, project type, budget, message.

3. Why?

To respond to your quote or information request. Nothing else.

4. For how long?

Emails received through the form are kept as long as the business relationship is active, then archived for 3 years or deleted on request.

5. Audience measurement and experience analysis

We measure traffic on this site with Konfector Analytics, our own tool. This measurement is exempt from consent: no cookie, no storage in your browser, no persistent identifier. Your IP address and browser type are only used to compute, on our servers, an encrypted identifier valid for a single day, which cannot be used to follow you from one day to the next. The IP address itself is never stored. We measure page views, visit duration, traffic source (referring site, campaign) and the site's performance indicators (Core Web Vitals).

Only if you accept it in the banner shown on your first visit, we also analyse how pages are used: elements clicked, abandoned forms (the name of the last field, never what you typed in it) and errors encountered, in order to fix what gets in the way. Refusing is as easy as accepting, and changes nothing about your access to the site.

Your choice is remembered in a single cookie, kf_consent, which only holds that choice, its date and the banner version. It is kept for 13 months if you accept and 6 months if you refuse, and serves no other purpose: it is not used to recognise or follow you. You can change your mind at any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.

The data is hosted in France, shared with no third party, and detailed events are deleted after 13 months; only daily totals remain, which identify no one.

We also use Vercel Analytics to count visits in an anonymous and aggregated way, with no cookie and no unique identifier.

6. Technical subprocessors

Our site is hosted with Vercel (USA, Data Privacy Framework agreements). Konfector Analytics audience measurement is hosted with LWS (Paris, France). No other third-party tracker: no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no Hotjar.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, port and object. Write to us at malo@konfector.fr. We reply within 7 days.

You can also lodge a complaint with the French data authority (CNIL): cnil.fr.

8. Security

Our site follows modern security standards: HTTPS, Content-Security-Policy, X-Frame-Options, HSTS preload, zero third-party tracking JavaScript.
